Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data LlamaPresenter collects, why, and what you can do about it. LlamaPresenter, a company registered in Georgia, is responsible for your data. We don't sell it, and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google. Guest sessions get an anonymous ID and nothing more.
- Your content. Songs, playlists, presentations, media, templates, settings and any Bible translations you upload, so they are there whenever you open the console.
- Billing. Dodo Payments collects your payment details. We never see your full card number. We receive your plan, its status and the billing country, so we know what your account includes.
- Messages. What you send us through the contact form, by email, WhatsApp or Telegram, and our replies.
- Usage and technical data. Anonymous page views and performance measurements, which don't use cookies or identify you. We also see IP addresses and browser details in server logs, which we use for security and to prevent abuse.
- Desktop crash reports. If you turn them on in the desktop app, reports of errors and the app version, so we can fix problems.
Why we use it
- To provide LlamaPresenter and keep your content in sync, as part of our agreement with you.
- To take payments and keep records the law requires.
- To answer you and to send essential messages about your account or subscription.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors. This is our legitimate interest.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and features people use, so we can improve them. You can switch this off on the Cookie settings page.
We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to them, and every one has a way to unsubscribe.
Who processes it for us
These services handle data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Supabase: Accounts, sign-in and the database that stores your content.
- Vercel: Hosting the website and app, plus anonymous, cookieless analytics and speed measurements.
- Dodo Payments: Checkout, billing, tax and receipts, as our merchant of record.
- Google: Sign-in, when you choose to sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Telling people from bots on sign-up and forms.
- Formspree: Delivering messages you send through the contact form.
- YouTube: Playing YouTube videos you add to a presentation or that we embed.
Some of them store data outside Georgia, including in the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, apart from copies in backups, which expire on their normal cycle. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires. We delete guest sessions that haven't been used for a long time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or get a copy to take elsewhere. You can also object to or restrict some uses of it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Georgia, that is the Personal Data Protection Service.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and access to it is limited to what running LlamaPresenter needs. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your data we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
LlamaPresenter is meant for churches and organisations, run by adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
When we update this policy we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app.
